Important message to firewall users:  WinDos will attempt to access the internet because of a WinDos Help link to our online web support page.  You may grant the request or deny it and access the page from your browser at the supplied address in your help file.  WinDos depends on the Microsoft HTML Help Workshop for internet access.

Installation instructions: 

After download completes, run windos13.exe.  It will unzip and install automatically.

You may be told that setup cannot continue because of out-of-date system files.  Choose to update the system files.  You will be required to reboot your computer and run setup again.

You may receive warning: File in use.  Choose "skip" or "ignore" and continue the install.

You may receive a message that an existing file is newer.  Choose "yes" to keep newer file.

If you are having installation permissions problems and  you have NT or Windows 2000, try logging on as Administrator on the local machine to install WinDos.

After WinDos installs, it can be accessed and run from Start-> Programs->berkeley design studio.
